I have not found a good way of elevating the dolly yet so I simply use what I can find in the field.

For all the shots in my videos the tripod is locked down. Please share some of your footage show with the dolly when you have a chance! On a side note, a suggestion when using the dolly: rub olive oil on the metal bars if they get sticky (i know, its strange but it really helps!).
